Campus Developments BRICKS MORTAR AND THE ENVIRONMENT WE ARE COMMITTED TO PROVIDING A A SAFE INSPIRATIONAL ENVIRONMENT FOR LEARNING THAT IS AS AS SUSTAINABLE AS AS POSSIBLE WE CONTINUE TO INVEST IN IN IN ALL OUR SCHOOL SITES We reduced our our carbon footprint by installing fresh water dispensers and encouraging reusable containers saving: equivalent to 1 TONNE OF PLASTIC OR 1 5 TONNES OF CARBON APPROXIMATELY 25 000 BOTTLES A A YEAR Additionally this year to re-open safely after lockdown a a a a a a a a a a a a a a a number of changes were made across our campuses including increased hand-washing facilities social distancing spacing signage one-way systems hand hand hand sanitisers and and and and and all the best practice of hands face and and and space BETTER FOR WORK REST AND PLAY The Sixth Form had a a a a a a a a a a fresh redecoration and and facelift new new furniture and and and a a a a a a a a a a a a a a fantastic new new new layout of rooms to give students modern spaces spaces for group and and quiet study as as as well as as as new new social spaces spaces The front of of the the College has been redecorated along with the the installation of of three mobile wooden teaching areas to provide more space Senior Boys have an an an extended tarmac playground an an an improved astro all-weather play play area area and three additional mobile wooden teaching areas Junior Boys now have a a a a a a a a a ‘sail’ covered area in in the playground thanks to PTA funding and an an an extended paved area behind the the sports hall along with phased redecoration of the the main house and classrooms 24 | Celebrating 60 years “THE REFURBISHMENT HAS MADE THE THE SIXTH FORM FEEL EVEN MORE WELCOMING AND MODERN EVERY CLASSROOM FEELS BRIGHTER AND IT’S A A A VERY WORK FRIENDLY SPACE ” EMMA SIXTH FORMER
